Biological Process

Biological Process

Healthy plants start with healthy soil. We carefully analyze and modify each element to ensure your landscape will thrive.

A. MULCH

We add mulch, whether mineral or organic, to slow down water evaporation, add nutrients to the soil, and provide structure for the plants and microorganisms.
B. MICROBES

We support microbial diversity, which is critical for nutrient cycling, soil structure, protection from plant pathogens, and decomposing organic matter.
C. MINERALS

Our background in soil science and our standard testing process allows us to fine tune minerals in the system to unlock fertility.
D. FUNGI

We maintain and introduce mycorrhizal fungal species. Breaking down the soil’s mineral base and signaling the rest of the biology to assist, fungi carry water and nutrients to the plants. Fungi support drought tolerance, erosion control, and toxicity remediation.
E. HUMIC ACID

The humic acid we apply does wonders for Austin-area soil. It transports nutrients from the soil to the plant, feeds the system, and create aggregate clay particles to loosen soil and support healthy root growth.
F. PLANTS

Our plants are carefully chosen for genetics, grouped with complementary species, and grown in the Texas sun to ensure long lasting, tough landscapes. Plants that are babied on chemical fertilizers without exposure to the elements lack the strength to endure the Texas climate
