At Round Table Road, we preserved the stately red oaks in the backyard. At the top of a slope, we built a putting green and patio to frame a sweeping view of Austin. Limestone steps rise from a flagstone patio, leading to a pea gravel fire pit.
 
We planted native Texas greenery—mountain laurel, dwarf palmetto, oak leaf hydrangea, sprawling rosemary, blue mist, and leopard plant. Loquats and a Lacebark Elm bring depth and lushness to the space.

On the upper patio, a basalt fountain adds the soft sound of water, creating a peaceful atmosphere.
